Omni-Vue (All versions) Changes: -------------------------------- -Exam/Image limit removed. It has been replaced with a warning message that shows up at 1000 exams or 25,000 images, which ever comes first. The warning message shows up once at startup and is displayed on the bottom of the Exam list. This warning will only show up if images are store on the local database. Omni-Vues connecting to an OmniArchive and OmniOne systems will not be effected. -Fixed toolbar configuration issues for 3 and 5 MP settings. -Exporting images on Vista operating systems under a limited access account is now allowed. -Conference folders are now limited to a maximum of one tab on the exam list. Conference folder is now limited to 100 exams. -OmniVue will automatically refresh the local IP address when accessing the DICOM send window. This will significantly improve image quality for these systems. -When entering patient demographics, Omni-Vue will now remove any preceding spaces before the Patient ID or Name. MWL Add-on Changes: ------------------- -When searching a MWL server, blank search fields will automatically act as a wild card. (i.e. searching for patient Bob, with the modality tag blank, will return results for all possible modalities.) -Referring physician names will now show up as a 'string value' if it does not follow the naming rules for the DICOM standard. ==================================== Omni-Vue Updates: Version 214 ==================================== Omni-Vue (All versions) Changes: -------------------------------- -Omni-Vue Simple Viewer has been updated to run on Windows XP and Windows Vista non-administrator accounts. -Omni-Vue Simple Viewer toolbar buttons updated to match Omni-Vue. -Added confirmation box to Omni-Vue, it will appear if the exam is still open when opening Exam List. User will be prompted to: "keep the exam open, save changes and close the exam, or discard changes and close the exam" -AutoUpDate will now prompt the user before performing an automatic update. The user will have five seconds to cancel the update and launch Omni-Vue immediately. -"Loading..." message now appears when opening new images. This was added to prevent the user from thinking Omni-Vue has frozen when it is loading very large images. -Removed the "Move" function from the CD\DVD Creator section, the default behaviour is now "copy". Removing the move function will prevent images from being lost in case the CD\DVD fails to burn correctly. Users must now create the CD\DVD, confirm the backup was created successfully, then delete the exams from the Omni-Vue Exam List. -Omni-Vue's minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768. Menus in Omni-Vue have been updated to reflect this minimum screen resolution requirement.
